Design of Dynamic Vehicle Detector
1. System components
The sense coil is connected with the resonant circuit through the feeder, and when the ferromagnetic body passes through the sense coil, the change of the inductance is converted into the frequency change through the resonant circuit. At the same time the host computer through the serial port RS232 to collect the frequency change value to form the induction frequency curve for vehicle identification.
In order to ensure that the equipment in the road scene harsh noise interference environment, long-term normal and reliable work, specially designed hardware watchdog circuit, to ensure that the equipment in the crash after the self-starting to resume work. At the same time in the detector long-term operation, if the operating frequency exceeds a certain range through the reset circuit to reset, to re-frequency adjustment. The status indication circuit is used to indicate vehicle detection information, device operation and network communication information, detector operation status information.
2. System software design
The system uses AT89C51 microcontroller, the chip has 4KBYTE EPROM can be repeatedly programmed, and simple operation, easy to develop debugging and mass production. We use 11.0592MHz crystal.
3. Vehicle identification
In the toll collection system, we use the automatic toll system instead of the traditional artificial semi-automatic toll collection system. Automatic toll collection system will require many high-tech, one of the most critical technology is how to measure the actual vehicle type to determine the charges. We use the sense coil as a sensor, combined with fuzzy pattern recognition algorithm for vehicle classification.
